Julia Ullman is an experiential educator, t’filah leader, and Jewish community organizer. She most recently served as the Community Coordinator of Kehilat Shanghai in China. Previously, Julia has held a variety of positions as a Jewish educator and youth professional. Julia earned her BA in 2018 from the University of Chicago as a double major in Jewish Studies and Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations, and is now pursuing her MA in Jewish Education online from the Jewish Theological Seminary. She spent a year of study post-college at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, a fellow of the Pardes Experiential Educators Program. Julia will be starting rabbinical school at HUC-JIR in 2021. Julia is passionate about empowering learners with the tools to question, experiment with, and embrace the many facets of our Jewish tradition in individualized and innovative ways. She is currently based in Cleveland, Ohio with her family, and can be found cooking, crafting, gardening, or traveling in her spare time.
