Bob Cooper has always had a deep passion for the game of baseball. Lately, his interests focused more intensely toward the rich history of Jews and baseball. He discovered a connection between these two communities that runs deep into the psyche of both America’s national pastime and the Jewish community. In addition, he has been an avid collector of sports memorabilia since childhood. When not engaged in his baseball and memorabilia passion, Bob is a middle school teacher in Toronto, and a Council member of the Ontario Collect of Teachers. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of the Toronto Centre for the Arts and Holy Blossom Temple. He has been a teacher for 24 years, and formerly worked in Toronto's Jewish Day School system. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
